Our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way, with no partner or prior experience needed. Just bring your curiosity and a love of music!
Dance IM offers Zouk classes every Tuesday and Thursday in Abbotsford and Collingwood, Melbourne, including a FREE trial class for new students.
You can also explore private lessons, workshops, and social dance events – there's something for every level of dancer.

Conheça os Professores – Meet the Instructors Behind Dance IM
Dance IM is more than just a studio – it’s a space built on experience, passion and connection.
Founded by Izzy in Melbourne in 2012, Dance IM is led by Izzy Washington and Steve Reilly, two of Australia’s most respected Brazilian Zouk instructors. With over 30 years of combined teaching experience, their classes are known for being insightful, inclusive and thoughtfully designed.
Izzy’s background in Ballet and Human Movement brings grace, creativity and a deep understanding of the body. Steve’s foundations in Street Latin, Ballroom and Engineering add structure, technique and flow.
Together, they’ve helped shape the Australian Zouk scene and continue to guide students of all levels with care, humour and a genuine love for the dance.
Joined by Rhi, Adam and Nici, your DanceIM teachers & DJs are highly trained to give you the best experienced in your classes and socials.
